Save Your City

Save Your City - How Toxic Culture Kills Community & What To Do About It.” by Diane Kalen-Sukra, MA, CMC

“Save Your City” is both enlightening and inspiring as Diane really showcases her servant’s heart as she covers the theoretical, philosophical, and psychological aspects of what ails local government, and society today.
Kaleb-Sukra offers fantastic perspective on a lot of the troubling elements we see in our world today. 👀

“Save Your City” is full of leadership and life lessons, loaded with gems on every page. I’m not kidding, I dog-eared half the book (sorry librarians). Dianne shows us how to lead with love, offering insightful ways to seek understanding, rather than passing judgment, to listen with intent, and to embed compassion into our everyday lives. 💜

This book is a well nuanced manifesto for addressing the incivility and keyboard warrior culture that we are in the midst of, offering solutions for kindness and compassion. “Save Your City” should become recommended reading for every aspiring professional and MPA program students. 📖

I applaud you on this fantastic book, but even more-so on your efforts and refreshing approach. From one passionate local government nerd to another, excellent work. 💫
